Staffing Coordinator Spotlight 2021

Staffing Coordinator Spotlight 2021

  • Tell me a little bit about what you do? As a staffing coordinator my primary responsibility is to ensure each client is staffed with a PCA who fits their needs and can help the client maintain their activities of daily living. We hire, train, and orientate all new staff.
  • What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator? My favorite thing about being a coordinator is being able to help our clients by placing qualified attendants in their home, who can help them maintain their independence while still providing valuable services. Also getting to know the people who work for En Su Casa and what they expect from our agency.
  • How long have you been a coordinator? I believe it has been about two years now.
  • What’s something you want all your attendants to know? We here at En Su Casa really do appreciate all the time and compassion you all put into your work. We get calls every day that help us see how compassionate most of you are about what you do and it is very much appreciated. We could not be one of the most highly rated companies in the industry without each and every one of you.
  • What’s rewarding about your job? The most rewarding part of my job is knowing our clients’ needs are being met while helping the company grow.

  • Tell me a little bit about what you do? I hire potential attendants for our members.
  • What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator? My favorite is meeting new faces and staffing the members.
  • How long have you been a coordinator? I’m going on 6 years in May.
  • What’s something you want all your attendants to know? I want the attendants to know En Su Casa is a great company to work for.
  • What’s rewarding about your job? Just knowing that our members have been staffed and the attendants are happy with the client.
  • Share a story about a time you helped an attendant. There was once a provider that I placed with a client. It did not work out so I gave her another male client and she mentioned she will just try him, because she has had a bad experience in the past with male clients. Shortly after 2 weeks with the client, she called me and stated how happy she was with the client. They get along well and he is very respectful. Just hearing that made me happy.

  • Tell me a little bit about what you do? My name is Lupita González. I am a Client Care Coordinator and also a Staffing Coordinator. As a Staffing Coordinator, I interview interested individuals seeking employment and try to match clients and attendants.
  • What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator? My favorite thing is working with the clients and personal care attendants, training them on assigned tasks for clients and supervising that the tasks are met.
  • How long have you been a coordinator? I have been a Staffing Coordinator and a Client Care Coordinator since May 26, 2015. I hope to be here for many more years.
  • What’s something you want all your attendants to know? I want to give a big THANK YOU to each one of our attendants for all their hard work. They always know I am a phone call away for any questions or anything they may need.
  • What’s rewarding about your job? It gives me great satisfaction to be able to work with each one of our clients and attendants. It has been a great experience being part of the En Su Casa family.
  • Share a story about a time you helped an attendant (without using attendant names or information). I do not have a specific story for one attendant, each one of them is a separate story as they are part of our En Su Casa family. Attendants know, as I always tell them, I am just a phone call away for anything they might need.
