Senior Home Care With A Personal Touch

Do you or your loved one need help with daily activities, such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, or transportation to appointments? Our Personal Assistance Services (PAS) can help you maintain independence safely and within the comfort of your own home. Whether you’re seeking short-term or long-term care, we can find the right services to meet your needs. Clients who are eligible can also receive full coverage for these services through Medicaid.
  • Personal hygiene assistance (e.g. help with bathing, toileting, and grooming)
  • Transfer and ambulation assistance throughout the home
  • Home management, cleaning, and laundry
  • Transportation
  • Assistance with light range-of-motion or muscle-strengthening exercises
  • Assistance with eating, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Dressing assistance
  • Aiding with self-administered medications
All Personal Assistance Services include a thorough in-home care assessment to evaluate each client’s needs and preferences. Prior to beginning services, an in-home safety check is conducted to identify potential hazards and offer solutions. We also provide frequent in-home evaluations and ongoing caregiver supervision.

Who is Eligible?

For those who are eligible, Medicaid pays for Personal Assistance Services on the client’s behalf. If you’re interested in enrolling in the Medicaid program to receive these in-home care services, our staff is happy to help you through the process. Fill out our application today to get started!

 

If you’re already a current Medicaid recipient, please note that continuous enrollment for Medicaid ended on March 31, 2023. It’s important for you to respond to any renewals or information requests from the Texas Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) to maintain your coverage. Please contact us if you need help completing your renewal package.

Are You a Veteran?

If you are a Veteran or surviving spouse of a Veteran, you may be eligible for Aid and Attendance benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)Aid and Attendance is part of the VA’s Disability and Death Pension programs, providing supplemental income for Veterans who have a disability unrelated to their military service and/or are at least 65 years old. Similar income is provided to the surviving spouse of a qualifying Veteran.

 

Those who qualify can receive up to 10% off one week of En Su Casa’s private care services.

 

With more than 20 years of experience working with Veterans, En Su Casa is officially vendorized and contracted with the VA to provide in-home care services to Veterans. Maximum monthly benefits for those who qualify for Aid & Attendance through the Department of Veterans Affairs are:

 

  • Surviving spouse of a Veteran: $1,149
  • A veteran with no spouse or dependence children: $1,788
  • A married couple where the Veteran requires care: $2,120
  • Income Improvement Pension: $1,404
