Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“I make sure our clients are taken care of and placed with good providers.”

How long have you been a coordinator?

“About 10 months now, but I have been with the company going on 4 years.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Being able to know my clients are safe and taken care of.”

Share a story about a time you helped a client.

“One time I personally went and helped a client in-home who was bedbound. She needed to be bathed and fed and she was so grateful to have someone help that she even wanted me to stay for the whole shift. I was very happy to help.”

 

Jesse Perez

How long have you been a coordinator?

“5 years 8 months and counting.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I am here to listen and learn from you.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Knowing that I helped someone today.”

Share a story about a time you helped a client.

“A client’s wife had been requesting a bath for her husband. It had been about two weeks since he [the client] had been physically bathed and none of the female providers were able to lift/physically move him. The client’s wife asked if I knew anyone to help them, so I volunteered and went over. It was a Friday and they both were very grateful for that. They even tried to pay me, but I declined.”

Alex Pena

What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator?

“Being able to make sure the clients are taken care of.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I want all my clients to know that their care is a priority of mine.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Being able to help others, getting to speak to new, friendly people every day, and being able to see the clients and providers begin to care about each other like family.”

 

 

Maria Reyna

How long have you been a coordinator?

“2 ½ years.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“That we are here for them.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Helping out our clients.”

 

Elaine Gonzales

Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“I just took on the role of Lead Coordinator. I do initials, help out with EVV and coordinating issues, and provide training to new employees.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“That I will try to always be there for them.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Helping the elderly and those in need of assistance to always make them feel loved and appreciated.”

Share a story about a time you helped a client.

“I recently had a client reach out to us saying that he was hungry. During my lunch break, I took him some food, so he could have a warm meal for the day.”

Rosemary Alaquinez

Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“I am a client coordinator at En Su Casa Caregivers. I work closely with clients who are needing provider services.”

What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator?

“Having conversations with clients and hearing them laugh.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I would like my clients to know that I am patient and I am here to help.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“The most rewarding thing about my job is being able to help the elderly and making them feel loved.”

Mariah Lerma

Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“Taking care of my clients making sure their needs are met and providing attention to my client’s needs.”

What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator?

“Hearing they are satisfied with my service and providing great caregivers to care for individuals or loved ones.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I take pride in my work to ensure my clients are taken care of to the best of my ability.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Knowing that we are making a difference in our client’s lives.”

Christine Zamora

Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“I work with our VA and AACOG clients with their authorizations, schedules, and their staffing needs.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I would like our clients to know that I will be here to assist them to the best of my ability.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“What is so rewarding about my job is that I can assist people in need whether it be from finding a caregiver that will fit all their needs to just being an ear to listen.”

Share a story about a time you helped a client.

“I helped a client eat dinner one evening and listened to their stories. That reminded me of why I do what I do, and to appreciate my elders. He was excited to just have someone there to listen to him.”

Eagle Pass Care Coordinator:

Lupita Gonzalez

Tell me a little bit about what you do?

“As a Client Care Coordinator, I work directly with the clients and PCAs. Coordinating the best schedule for them to be able to provide them with the best service. Train each one of the providers to make sure they give and care for each client with 100% satisfaction.”

What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator?

“Being able to interact and meet the clients and personal care attendant needs. They know I am just a phone call away.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I want my clients to know that we are here for them, and give caring and quality care.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“Having the satisfaction and gratitude to be part of such an amazing work team.”

Uvalde Care Coordinator:

Marylou Espitia

Tell me a little bit about what you do?”

“As the client care coordinator for the Uvalde branch, I coordinate scheduling of the attendant to adhere to their service plan, make home visits as needed, and maintain client records.”

What’s your favorite thing about being a coordinator?

“My favorite thing about being a coordinator is that I get to meet new people and help people with the services we provide in the comfort of their home.”

What’s something you want all your clients to know?

“I would like all my clients to know that I appreciate them and I am here to assist with anything I am capable of doing.”

What’s rewarding about your job?

“What I find rewarding about my job is the services this agency provides for my community.”
